This week I created my reflective journal for Photographic Practice. I began thinking about the types of photography and imagery that I am naturally drawn to. I found that I am particularly interested in dreamlike images that use visual storytelling and create a sense of fantasy.

When looking at different examples, I was especially drawn to fairytale-inspired imagery because a single photograph can suggest a much larger story. As I develop my photography, I would like to experiment with composition, lighting, colour and setting to understand how these elements can change the atmosphere and meaning of an image.
